Valdor Fiber Optics Inc. (“Valdor”) (VFO-V) wishes to announce the launching of a new Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) and Fiber-to-the-Premises (FTTP) product called Tri HeptoWave TM WDM 1310/1490/1550 add/drop. Based on the patented and proven Impact Mount ™ technology, the Tri HeptoWave TM WDM 1310/1490/1550 is a 3-in-1 add/drop utilizing the HeptoPort™ self-aligned two dimensional fiber bundle connection. The Tri HeptoWave™ WDM 1310/1490/1550 will significantly reduce the total add/drop cost and space by up to a factor of three . The market demand for the next generation products in both the FTTP and FTTH solutions are increasing dramatically throughout the world.

This new HeptoPort ™ product enables a single optical filter with three wavelengths (1310/1490/1550) to be shared by up to three add/drop multiplexers. This product offers excellent channel bandwidth, flexible channel configuration, low insertion loss and high isolation. The Tri HeptoWave ™ WDM 1310/1490/1550 has the highest density per surface area to interconnect optical elements. All Valdor products are epoxy-free in the optical path.
