Vitex Intros New EDFAs

Vitex introduced today a series of optical fiber amplifiers that answers the demand for longer transmission lengths and provides an essential component for fiber optic systems.

LiComm’s series of intelligent amplifiers carry superior optical performance that allows for wide flat range, excellent high gain, low noise figure, fast transient control and variable gain control.

As the leader with the technology to mass produce EDFAs in Korea for the global market, LiComm offers an extensive range of optical fiber amplifiers suitable to fit any specific application.

Among the list of products available include the High Power TDM EDFA series, a complete EDFA module with an electric control part designed for narrow band wavelength fiber optic communication systems of core networks, access networks and CATV networks.

For high-performance and use in ultra-long haul, long haul and wide bandwidth DWDM systems of core and metropolitan networks over C-band, L-band and C+L band, the Raman Amplifier and WDM EDFA series offer the perfect fit.

Also available is the multi-port EDFA for PON/FTTx application for video signals.
